University of Central Oklahoma
Because so many degree programs are available, students should contact the nursing school of their choice to inquire about admissions requirements.  The advisement worksheet was prepared for OSU students planning to complete their nursing education at one of the schools listed above, and receive the B.S. degree in nursing.  Students should not assume that all schools maintain the same requirements for admission.

ELECTIVES: Make up the balance of hours needed to equal 67 hours.

SHADOWING EXPERIENCE: Pre-Nursing students should test the depth of their commitment by getting exposure to nursing. Volunteer or work at a hospital or nursing home, visit nursing schools, talk with nurses, and keep informed about new developments in nursing education.

GRADEPOINT REQUIREMENT: Students must have at least a 2.5 GPA in all college work attempted and have earned a "C" or better in required courses.
